"According to the Road Department of the Georgian Ministry of Territorial Development and Infrastructures, as of December 19, 10 am, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all means of transport with snow chains," the source says.
As many as 377 trucks have gathered on the Russian border.
At the same time, the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of December 19, 8 am, there are heavy going roads in the republic. In particular, the matter concerns Vardenyats Pass, Sotk-Karvachar, Gyumri-Vanadzor, Vanadzor-Stepanavan- Alaverdi, Vanadzor-Dilijan and Saravan-Zanger roads. There is black ice on Aparan-Aragats, Yelpin-Zanger and all the roads of Tavush and Syunik provinces.
