


ArmInfo. An Armenian court has ordered a two-month pre-trial detention for Martun Grigoryan, a former member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
According to the Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia, the arrest follows an ongoing criminal investigation concerning alleged electoral offenses. Grigoryan, who was previously a candidate on the electoral list for the Prosperous Armenia party, was detained as part of these proceedings.
In his political career, Grigoryan served in past parliamentary convocations, including within the opposition "With Honor" faction. In 2025, he participated in local governance activities. In 2026, Grigoryan announced his intentions to participate in the parliamentary elections as part of the Prosperous Armenia Party.
