ArmInfo.During a farewell meeting with Danish Ambassador to Armenia Ann Tovt Sorensen, Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan discussed the agenda of Armenian-Danish relations, the process of cooperation between the countries in the political, economic, and other spheres, and prospects for its further expansion.
According to the press service of the Armenian President, During the meeting, President Khachaturyan expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Sorensen for her work throughout her diplomatic mission, noting her significant contributions to the development of ties, the activation of political dialogue, and the strengthening of bilateral cooperation. He particularly commended Denmark's ongoing support for Armenia's democratic reform agenda and extended his best wishes for the Ambassador's future endeavors.
In turn, Ambassador Sorensen thanked the Armenian government for their effective cooperation and support throughout her tenure, highlighting that the mutual trust established between the two nations has been a key driver in advancing joint initiatives.
In discussing the future trajectory of Armenian-Danish relations, the parties noted the importance of more effectively leveraging the existing potential for cooperation in high technology, agriculture, and alternative energy, utilizing Danish expertise and innovative solutions.
The interlocutors underscored the importance of maintaining consistent high-level visits and fostering direct engagement between business circles. They concluded that expanding Armenia's economic ties with Denmark—and the European Union more broadly—is essential for deepening mutually beneficial cooperation and creating new investment pathways.
