


ArmInfo. Armenian rescuers have been searching for a 13-year-old girl in the Pambak River in the Lori region for five days.
According to the department, the search for two sisters, aged 7 and 13, began on June 15. They reportedly left Grigor Narekatsi Street in Vanadzor and never reached their destination. The girls reportedly fell into the water from a pipe thrown across the river while crossing. On June 17, at approximately 9:30 AM, rescuers discovered the body of one of the sisters, 7-year-old Nare Martirosyan.
According to the source, search and rescue efforts involve SS Ministry of Internal Affairs and police officers, volunteers, divers, and drones. Boats and other equipment are also being used.
The day before, it was announced that the pipe, which has been across the river since 1987 and has caused numerous deaths, had been dismantled.
