No one to succeed in casting shadow on activities of Artsakh`s state  structures through political speculation and lies  - Ashot Danielyan

ArmInfo.  No one will succeed in casting a shadow on the activities of the state structures of the Republic of Artsakh through unfounded accusations, false information,  and political speculation. This was stated by Ashot Danielyan,  Chairman of the National Assembly of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic  (NKR), amid the spread of unverified information online and on  various public platforms about funds linked to Artsakh Fruit CJSC.

In particular, as the Artsakh Parliament Speaker explained, unknown  individuals spread information that the company allegedly transferred  funds to him for personal expenses. "To dispel any confusion and  doubts among the public, I officially announce that Artsakh Fruit  CJSC transferred certain funds to me, as Speaker of the NKR  Parliament, solely for official activities and related expenses.

These funds were not personal income and were used to address issues  arising from the state and public interests of the Republic of  Artsakh," Danielyan stated.

In this regard, he called it unacceptable that individuals, without  knowledge of the facts or providing any compelling evidence, are  attempting to turn sensitive public issues into political reprisals,  discreditation, and the creation of false narratives on social media.

In connection with this situation, he announced the formation of a  special commission in the coming days, tasked with comprehensively  examining Artsakh's 2023 state budget expenditures, as well as all  circumstances related to the intended use of these funds. Danielyan  explained that the commission will be provided with all documents,  financial reports, materials substantiating expenses, and relevant  explanations necessary for the investigation. He also emphasized that  the investigation must be impartial and free from political pressure  and preconceived notions.

"After its completion, the commission will present a fact-based  conclusion and corresponding recommendations. I assure you that there  are no facts or circumstances that can be concealed. All questions of  public concern will be answered clearly, comprehensively, and  factually. At the same time, I declare that no one will be able to  cast a shadow on the activities of state structures of the Republic  of Artsakh or my reputation through unfounded accusations, false  information, and political speculation. Public hype remains no proof  of unlawful actions, and the absence of facts cannot be replaced by  political orders, personal insults, and attempts to mislead the  public," the Speaker of the Artsakh Parliament emphasized.

Danielyan also assured that all those who made accusations without  any supporting documents will be held accountable for every false  information and defamatory statement they disseminated after the  investigation is completed.

The Artsakh Fruit CJSC was founded in 2007 in the Nagorno-Karabakh  Republic. Construction of a fruit and vegetable processing plant  began in January 2008 and was successfully completed in June 2008.
