ArmInfo. According to the logic of some forces, the Republic of Armenia should also apologize for the fact that the election bribe was not counted correctly. RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this on his Facebook page.
According to him, it turns out they should have been given 2, 3, 4, and 5 chances when the votes were counted.
"This is absurd logic. Political forces in Armenia that distributed election bribes will no longer have any chance. "Any chance!" "And this was decided by the people's vote," Nikol Pashinyan stated.
Following the June 7 elections, Nikol Pashinyan's ruling Civil Contract party received 64 seats in the Armenian parliament, while two opposition forces received a combined 41 seats. The voter turnout was 58.9%, or 1,476,769 citizens. The Civil Contract party won seats in the Armenian parliament with 49.7456% of the vote, Samvel Karapetyan's Strong Armenia bloc with 23.2710%, and second president Robert Kocharyan's Armenia bloc with 9.9231%. Gagik Tsarukyan's Prosperous Armenia party failed to pass the 4% parliamentary threshold following a recount, receiving only 3.9893%.
Following the announcement by the Central Election Commission of Armenia, six opposition forces issued a joint statement calling the elections illegitimate. The statement was signed by the "Strong Armenia" and "Armenia" blocs, as well as the "Prosperous Armenia," "Enlightened Armenia," "Armenian National Congress," and "National Democratic Pole" parties.
