


ArmInfo. The Prosperous Armenia Party is demanding clarification regarding the number of registered voters, as stated by the party's secretary, Iveta Tonoyan, on her Facebook page.
Specifically, she noted that on June 6, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia reported that the total number of eligible voters in the Republic of Armenia stands at 2,485,851. Meanwhile, according to data published by the Central Electoral Commission, there are 2,503,996 individuals registered in the voter registry.
"Consequently, the discrepancy between these two figures amounts to roughly 18,000 voters—a matter that cannot be overlooked and requires a clear, comprehensive explanation.The question arises: who are these additional thousands of voters, where did this discrepancy come from and what is it caused by? Tonoyan asked.
