ArmInfo. A telephone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan covered almost all aspects of the situation related to Armenia's membership in the EAEU, including the statement by the four leaders, as stated by Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov to journalists, according to TASS.
"They discussed it in general," he said when asked whether the statement by the four leaders had been discussed. "The discussion continued the agenda that was discussed at the Supreme [Eurasian Economic] Commission in Astana."
According to him, the quadripartite statement by the EAEU leaders assumes that all nuances related to Armenia's membership in the union will be worked out by December. He noted that the countries' relevant agencies will have to "report on their progress on this issue" to the leaders. "All of this still needs to be discussed by December," the Kremlin spokesman added.
