Nikol Pashinyan accuses Samvel Karapetyan of espionage; threatens  lengthy prison sentence

ArmInfo. Nikol Pashinyan, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and leader of the "Civil Contract" party, has accused Samvel Karapetyan, the leader of the "Strong Armenia" party, of espionage.

In a video message posted on Facebook, Pashinyan stated that "the  Kaluga oligarch should be tried not only for money laundering and the   theft of electricity from schools, kindergartens, and military units,  but also for actions directed against the interests of the Republic  of Armenia."  "Specifically, [he should be tried] for attempts to  push the non-existent issue of returning 300,000 Azerbaijanis onto  the country's domestic political agenda. This espionage activity will  not work. Now, let the Kaluga oligarch prepare himself for the fact  that he will not be able to leave Armenia for another 10 years. He  must be in a penal institution declared He should be in a penal  institution as a spy, as an electricity thief, and as a money  launderer," the RA Prime Minister stated.
