ArmInfo. The Anti-Corruption Committee has announced new arrests involving members of the "Strong Armenia" party.
According to the Committee's report, based on measures taken by the National Security Service, as part of an investigation initiated by the Anti-Corruption Committee, credible information was received that a Strong Armenia party supporter, along with the head of the party's Ani office, gave several voters an election bribe of ranging from 70,000 and 200,000 drams, on the condition that they vote for their party in the National Assembly elections. To legitimize their criminal activities, the group's members posed as activists, volunteers, and local officials to those receiving election bribes, paying them not for the work they actually performed, but for the promise to vote in the elections according to a pre-arranged procedure.
The Anti-Corruption Committee has initiated criminal proceedings regarding the incident. Several individuals have been arrested, and searches alongside other procedural actions have been conducted
