


ArmInfo. A total of 43 criminal cases have been opened in Armenia for voter bribery. This was reported in a video report prepared by the RA Anti-Corruption Committee.
According to the source, criminal cases have been opened since February 7 of this year. These cases concern cases of giving and receiving electoral bribes, mediation in their transfer and receipt during elections, as well as bribery for the purpose of participating in meetings and other events related to obstructing citizens' electoral rights. The committee also focused on cases of charity, which is prohibited by current legislation.
Sixty-seven people have been detained in 14 of the 43 criminal cases opened, and criminal prosecution has been initiated against 75 individuals.
The committee called on citizens to say "no" to election bribery.
