ArmInfo. Regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, the "Armenia" bloc speaks only of the right of the people of Artsakh to return to their homes, and nothing more. The bloc's leader, second President of the Republic of Armenia Robert Kocharyan, told journalists on May 21 during a campaign in Aparan, while commenting on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statements that war will break out if other forces come to power in Armenia.
Robert Kocharyan wondered how many wars Nikol Pashinyan himself had brought upon the Armenian people. He only mentioned the possibility of the Artsakh people returning to their homes, which is an internationally recognized norm. Later, speaking at a rally in Aparan, the second president emphasized that he couldn't recall such a dirty campaign unfolding in Armenia in his lifetime. And this is happening because of the irresponsible government. "They think they don't represent the government during a campaign, but that's simply absurd. Moreover, whether you're on vacation or not, the government must adhere to certain standards. Meanwhile, the RA Prime Minister only talks about selecting this or that company, both agents, although everyone knows who the real Turkey's agents are," Robert Kocharyan said, adding that this has divided Armenian society into two camps, which is extremely dangerous. This process, which began in 2018, weakens the state. The opposition's goal, if it comes to power, should be to make a 180-degree turn. "A United Armenia is a strong Armenia," Robert Kocharyan emphasized.
