


ArmInfo. As part of the Europe Days in Armenia, celebrated under the theme "EU-Armenia: Closer than Ever," the European Film Festival will be held in the capital, as noted in a statement issued by the EU Mission to Armenia.
According to the source, Yerevan audiences will be presented with films by European directors, shot between 2023 and 2025. The festival will open with Italian director Paolo Sorrentino's "Grace." The program also includes Agnieszka Holland's "Franz" (a co-production between the Czech Republic, Germany, France, Poland, and Turkey), " Pelican Blue " by Hungarian director Laszlo Csaky, "There's still Tomorrow" by Italian director Paola Cortellesi, "Kapodistrias" by Greek director Yannis Smaragdis, and "Nouvelle Vague" by director Richard Linklater (a co-production between France and the USA). The festival will close with "Waves" by director Jiri Madl (a co-production between the Czech Republic and Slovakia).
Films will be shown from May 21st to 27th in their original languages with Armenian subtitles. Screenings begin at 7:00 PM. The venue will be the Big Hall of the Cinema House (18 Vardanants Street). Admission is free. Age restriction: 16+.
