European Junior and Youth Karate Championships to be held in Yerevan  in February 2027

ArmInfo.The European Junior and Youth Karate Championships will be held in Yerevan in February 2027. By the decision of the RA government dated May 14, 270 million drams will be allocated for its organization in the first half of this year.

According to the justification for the draft decision, the  championship will be held from February 5 to 11, 2027. It is expected  to attract approximately 2,000 athletes, as well as accompanying  personnel. A total of approximately 3,000 people are expected to  participate. The event will play an important role in the development  and popularization of this sport, resulting in the Republic of  Armenia becoming even more recognizable on international sports  platforms. At the same time, this will contribute to the development  of cultural values and tourism, including the modernization of  hotels, cultural centers and sports facilities, which, in turn, will  leave a mark on economic development.
