French University of Armenia Foundation may be established in Yerevan

ArmInfo. A French University of Armenia Foundation may be established in Yerevan. At its April 30 meeting, the RA government deemed it appropriate to sign a  corresponding intergovernmental agreement.

The draft cooperation agreement defines the status of the French  University of Armenia Foundation, its management and governing  bodies, the obligations of the French and Armenian parties, describes  the implementation of the university's educational programs,  provisions aimed at applied research and the development of  scientific potential, and the awarding of diplomas and academic  awards.

The agreement will contribute to the socioeconomic development of the  Republic of Armenia by training highly qualified specialists with  skills that meet labor market requirements and international academic  standards.

The agreement is aimed at developing applied research and  implementing innovative scientific and educational projects.
