 Շանթ Հարությունյանի գործում քաղաքական  ենթատեքստ չկա: Հոկտեմբերի 30-ին լրագրողներին
այդպիսի կարծիք է հայտնել Հայաստանի գլխավոր դատախազ Գեւորգ Կոստանյանը:


 


Նա, մասնավորապես, հայտարարել է, թե քաղաքական
ենթատեքստ չի տեսնում, եւ գործը հիմնավորված է համապատասխան ապացույցներով եւ
տեսանյութերով:


 


Դատախազի կարծիքով, Հայաստանի նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի
այն հայտարարությունը, թե Հարությունյանն ու նրա ընկերները մեղավոր են,
անմեղության կանխավարկածի խախտում չի եղել եւ չի անդրադարձել դատավճռի վրա: «Դա
չպետք է դիտարկվի անմեղության կանխավարկածի շրջանակում, քանի որ  խախտում չի կարող լինել որեւէ քաղաքացու կամ
պետական գործչի նախնական վերաբերմունքը, այլ պաշտոնատար անձի հայտարարությունը,
որի լիազորությունների մեջ չի մտնում գնահատական տալը մինչեւ որոշման կայացումը»,
- հայտարարել է նա:


 


Պատասխանելով այն հարցին, թե ինչու իրավապահ
մարմինները նման հետեւողականություն չդրսեւորեցին Սուրիկ Խաչատրյանի գործով,
Կոստանյանը հայտարարել է, թե բազմիցս արտահայտել է իր դիրքորոշումն այդ գործի
նկատմամբ: «Ինչ վերաբերում է այն բանին, որ նրա որդին արել է այս կամ այն, ապա
կարող եմ ասել, որ, ամեն դեպքում, եթե լինեն հանցագործության հատկանիշներ, հիմքեր
եւ ապացույցներ, համապատասխան անձը քրեական պատասխանատվության կկանչվի», -
եզրափակել է նա:


 



Հիշեցնենք, որ 2013 թվականի նոյեմբերի 5-ին Շանթ
Հարությունյանը իր հարյուր կողմնակիցների հետ միասին Գայ Ֆոքսի դիմակներով
«Անոնիմուսների երթ» էր սկսել դեպի պետության ղեկավարի նստավայր: Սակայն
ոստիկանները Մաշտոցի պողոտայում կասեցրին երթը: Տեղի ունեցան բախումներ,
Ոստիկանության պնդմամբ, իր աշխատակիցների ուղղությամբ նետվեցին ինքնաշեն պայթուցիչ
փաթեթներ, Հարությունյանի կողմնակիցները կիրառեցին նաեւ մահակներ: Ոստիկանություն
բերման ենթարկվեց 38 մարդ: Նրանցից 20-ը, այդ թվում Շանթ Հարությունյանը եւ նրա
որդին ձերբակալվեցին: Հետագայում տասից ավելի ակտիվիստներ կալանավորվեցին: Մինչդեռ
սեպտեմբերի 7-ին Հայաստանի պաշտպանության նախարարության քննչական ծառայությունը
դադարեցրել էր քրեական հետապնդումը Սյունիքի մարզպետի որդի Տիգրան Խաչատրյանի եւ
նրա թիկնապահ Զարզանդ Նիկողոսյանի նկատմամբ: Նրանք երկուսն էլ մեղադրվում էին
Գորիսի քաղաքապետի պաշտոնի նախկին թեկնածու Ավետիք Բուդաղյանի սպանության համար:
