


ArmInfo. Descendant of the famous von Meck and Tchaikovsky families, researcher, educator, collector - Denis von Meck - on the eve of the celebration of the 185th anniversary of the birth of the great composer P.I. Tchaikovsky will present in Yerevan the cultural and educational project .
Within the framework of this project, Yerevan will host several lectures on the work of P.I. Tchaikovsky by D.A. von Meck, a creative laboratory (piano and violin master classes) from professional teachers from Moscow for students of the P.I. Tchaikovsky School, a joint concert of teachers and the best students of the school who took part in the creative laboratory, a showing of two traveling exhibitions from a private collection.
The project unites 9 countries, including Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, China, Thailand, Argentina and Mexico. Armenia will be the first country to host the International Cultural and Educational Project.
Denis von Meck explained that in this anniversary year, the project is intended to revive and popularize little-known aspects of the life and work of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. , - he noted.
The events will be held in Yerevan from March 26 to 28. The project is being implemented by the Nadezhda Filaretovna von Meck International Charitable Foundation with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives
